PLAYING OUR PART THROUGH THE ARTS

Playing Our Part raises funds to support its beneficiaries through art in all its forms; music, writing, painting, video, film, photography and community gardening.

We are delighted to launch our first projects, There for You, a song written by Playing Our Part founder Peter Barber, Born to Serve, a memoir of Matt Maudlin's twenty year journey in the homelessness sector and two exciting Community Collaborations. Recipes for Disaster and Plot to Plate are collaborative endeavours between Playing Our Part, the Collingwood Children's Farm and the Farm Cafe.

A minimum of 70% of funds raised from these projects go to Playing Our Part's Purple Cloak Program so you can be assured when you purchase or donate that you are playing your part in helping someone return to mainstream accommodation and opening a space in the homelessness system that will move a person off the streets.

Several projects are run on a fully pro bono basis while some acknowledge the efforts of the works' Creators, Collabotators and Contributors as determined by the Committee based on input and impact.
